SFO –> LHR

I’m sitting at the gate, a good two hours before my flight is set to depart, ever so grateful that I just made it through what my be the most painless security check ever. Not only were the lines short, there were no flying newbies forgetting to take their belts off or their laptops out of their cases. After a super fun day in Palo Alto with my cousin, B., I’m already fairly worn out and ready to crash on this entirely-too-long flight. While I am eternally grateful that I’m on a direct flight (connections be damned), being on an airplane for over ten hours is a bit intense. While I normally like to pop a Benadryl or take some NyQuil before departing, I came to the airport without either today. Hoping and praying that I can sleep for at least 6 hours of the flight!

See you kiddos in London tomorrow!

xoxo,
