Fourth of July!

En route to Incline

A true patriot

In true American fashion, Boat Shoe Boy headed up to Tahoe with a crew to celebrate America’s birthday. Everyone slowly began to populate the cabin on Tuesday evening so that we could welcome the 4th bright and early on Wednesday morning. Naturally, a few ladies brought some decor to infuse a bit of patriotism into our home base.

The boys.

We spent Wednesday cruising around the lake and posted up at a secret cove to soak up some sun and take a dip in the always-too-cold water. While the girls spent most of the day on the boat, the boys took the opportunity to explore their inner outdoorsmen (cue lots of climbing and jumping.)

We headed back to clean up and whip up dinner: lots of meat and lots of potatoes as a little tribute to America. We posted up outside on the patio to watch the fireworks pop up around the lake before heading back up for the evening. Sadly, I left my real camera at home so I only have mediocre photos that I snapped with my iPhone. Better than nothing, I suppose!

Hope everyone else’s 4th of July was as fun and festive as ours! I have some other fun pictures from the rest of the week to come. God Bless America!

xoxo,

Ed – Huy, this is THE BEST engagement phoots I’ve ever seen. They’re so beautifully captured. The spontaneity, natural expressions and super sunset lighting make them so unique and beautiful. I cannot believe lake Tahoe could be this great without your creativity. Take care-Edward
