'I have no idea where we're going!'
I’ve been good.
I’ve been reallllly good.
Not once have I spilled the beans about an upcoming, surprise getaway that I planned for Boat Shoe Boy and myself. About a month ago, I decided I wanted to work on planning a cool weekend away for the two of us. To answer the obvious question, there’s no special occasion. I mean, we’re getting married, which is special, but that’s not for a while. Plus, we’re engaged, but that’s not the freshest news anymore either (though I will continue to milk it for as long as humanly possible). You know what’s great? There doesn’t actually have to be a reason to get away. I love exploring new cities and seeing new things, which I think is probably as good an excuse as any. Plus, I kind of like hanging out with him, so he seemed like a good companion for this trip.
I can’t reveal where we’re going just yet, but check back tomorrow to get the inside scoop! I’m loading up my car first thing in the AM to prep for the getaway and we’re going to head out late afternoon. Stay tuned!
